Cai Xin Stir-fry

Cai xin, xiao bai cai, kai lan etc are all known to me under the leafy vegetables category as till now, I still find it hard to differentiate chinese vegetables. The thing about these vegetables is that you can hardly go wrong when stir frying them with either garlic, oyster sauce or soy sauce.

Effortless way of achieving the 5 servings of greens a day.

Ingredients:

- Cai Xin
- Carrot
- Brussel sprouts
- Chinese mushroom (Dong gu)
- Dried shrimps
- Garlic
- Soy sauce
- Oil

Instructions:

- Soak mushroom in hot water
- Chop the garlic
- Slice carrot and mushroom
- Cut brussel sprouts and cai xin into quarters
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and brown the garlic
- Throw in everything else except cai xin, cook for 3 minutes
- Add in cai xin and some water
- A dash of soy sauce to taste
