The Admiral (Fish and Chips)

The origins of fish and chips has always been associated with the UK and it is not hard to know why looking at the numerous fish and chips takeaways almost at every turn of the neighbourhood.

After numerous disappointing attempts at most of the takeaways here, my heart now belongs solely to The Admiral up in Crookes and so far it's my weekly comfort food come rain, snow or shine I need to have it religiously.

The humble takeaway up in Crookes...

A thick generous portion of cod is used and coupled with mushy peas and chips, this is the only food I grew to miss when I am back in Singapore...

Now I just need to learn how to survive without it after I graduate...
